When large amounts of equal products need to be produced, it is often far more effective to make use of dedicated automated weldingmachine instead of  welding robots. 

For the same investment, compared to robotic welding, dedicated automated welding machines offer:

+a far higher output

+better quality and narrower tolerances.

Beams for palletracks:

LPI has build several automated welding machines for beams for palletracks. These PLC controlled machines offer sufficient flexibility to weld a wide range of profiles and connectors.

These machines have:

+ 6 weldingtorches which weld simultaneous, 3 on each beam end.

+ Free programmable servo axes for the welding movement

+ Automated (un)loading.

+ A strong fixture to position the parts during welding

Because the beams are welded simulateously on the back and the front of the profile, distortion of the connectors is minimised, resulting in high quality and narrow toleranced beams.
